My Fingertipping Journey
When I felt disconnected and overwhelmed, I found solace in painting—not with brushes, which felt too distant, but by using my fingertips. The canvas became a safe place where I could feel every texture and emotion, allowing me to embark on my own fingertipping journey. This tactile connection wasn't just a method; it was a necessity—a way to truly experience and process my feelings.
In the video, I share more about this journey and how it led to the creation of Fingertipping Your Journey. My guided workshops aren't just about painting; they're about unlocking your ability to express the emotions deep within. Your Guided Journey Workshop is an opportunity to explore your own responses to life, using art as a vehicle for self-discovery and personal growth.
Join me, and together let's turn your emotions into expressions that are vividly yours. Whether you're seeking understanding, a new way to communicate, or simply a creative outlet, I'm here to guide you through each touch, helping you find your voice on the canvas.
My artistic journey
Have you ever felt such an emotional response to a painting that you just had to reach out and touch it? Me too! When I used brushes, I felt disconnected from the canvas—so I tossed them aside and used my fingertips instead. And guess what? It worked!
My fingertips became the link between my emotions and the canvas, building stories from moments in time, reflections of things I’ve felt, seen, or heard in the world around me. For me, there’s nothing more powerful than using my hands to bring those emotions and stories to life.
I am fingertipping my journey.
My studio and beyond
I’m a professional artist with a thriving studio located on Gunaikurnai land in West Gippsland, Victoria.
In addition to my studio, where I create original works that reflect my emotional journey through fingertip painting, I started Fingertipping Your Journey. This is where I invite others to explore their own creativity and emotions through guided workshops.
Both my studio work and Fingertipping Your Journey are deeply connected, as they share the same goal: helping people use art as a way to express themselves and connect more deeply with their inner world.
If you’d like to visit my studio or learn more about my artwork, feel free to contact me. I’d love to connect with you and share more about my creative journey.
